WKF Launches “Karate Fan” Membership on YouTube

WKF Launches “Karate Fan” Membership on YouTube

The World Karate Federation (WKF) has reached a new milestone in its digital strategy with the launch of a membership system on its official YouTube channel. The new service, called “Karate Fan”, aims to provide fans around the world with greater access to Karate content.

Until now, access to medal bouts from Karate One Premier League events on the WKF YouTube channel has been limited, as television broadcast agreements often geoblocked bronze medal bouts and finals, meaning that many fans could not watch these key moments depending on their country.

With the introduction of the Karate Fan membership, this situation changes. For a small monthly fee, registered subscribers will be able to watch bronze medal bouts and finals from Karate One Premier League events on the WKF YouTube channel, regardless of their location. In addition to competition bouts, subscribers will also have access to exclusive content created specifically for members.

The Karate Fan membership represents an important step in the popularisation of karate. By making WKF major events accessible on YouTube, the world’s largest video platform, the WKF strengthens the global visibility of the sport. With this new service, the WKF also aims to strengthen its global community and recognise its most dedicated supporters.

The launch of Karate Fan reflects the WKF’s ongoing commitment to digital development, fan engagement, and the long-term growth of karate around the world.
