The African Karate Federation was created on June 30, 1987, in Dakar, Senegal.
The UFAK organises the African Championships, the Junior and Senior UFAK Championships in every years,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Karate_Federation and participates in WKF World Karate Championships. The current president of the African Karate Federation is Souleymane GAYE – Senegal.

Dear African Karate Family,
I extend my warmest greetings to all of you. Following the successful event in Casablanca, Morocco, I am thrilled to announce that the 07th Cadet, 15th Junior, and 08th Under 21 years old Championships of this year will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, from September 02 to 08, 2024.
I would like to invite all the African Karate Federations, including officials, athletes, coaches, administrators, media, and volunteers, to attend this crucial event in our continent.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Antonio Espinos, the President of WKF, for his continuous and unwavering support towards Africa. Additionally, I would like to thank Mr. Hassan KORBI, the President of the Tunisia Karate Federation, and his team for hosting this significant continental event.
I would also like to extend my warm greetings to the administrative authorities of the host country for their valuable support. Furthermore, I want to greet and thank Mr. Bechir Cherif, Coordinator of the UFAK Regions and 1st Vice President of UFAK, for his dedication and commitment.
Finally, I will take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the UFAK Executive Committee and Commission members for their hard work and contribution to promoting Karate in Africa.
