UFAK Inspection Mission in Abuja from March 15 to 18, 2025.

The UFAK recently carried out an inspection mission in Abuja, assigned by the president of UFAK, Souleymane Gay, to the vice-president of UFAK, Bechir Cherif, with the objective of ensuring optimal conditions for the upcoming African Karate Championships.

The Union of African Karate Federations extends its congratulations to the African referees who won the title of WKF judge during the Karate1 Youth League - Fujairah 2025.

Activities of the UFAK Regions in 2024

Following the activities organized by the UFAK Regions throughout 2024, we would like to recall the events that marked this year:

  • Eastern Region: From 6 to 9 June in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
  • Southern Region: June 21-23 in Swakopmund, Namibia.
  • West Region 1: From 3 to 8 July in Conakry, Guinea.
  • Centre Region: From 10 to 15 July in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
  • Northern Region: August 17-19 in Cairo, Egypt.

The last regional activity of the year 2024 was successfully closed in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from 15 to 22 December, by the West Region 2. This event marked the end of regional activities for this year.
